Privacy

We hold your work, not your data.

LiminalML includes Studio and Study. Your explanations, project drafts, resume, and review sessions are yours. We don’t mine them, share them, or feed them to anyone’s training pipeline.

Studio drafts, sharing, and exports

  • Studio drafts are saved in local storage in your browser. Download a project file to back them up or move devices. Studio does not require a Study account.
  • Share links encode your explanation and settings in the URL fragment. Anyone with the complete link can read that snapshot. Avoid including private information in a shared artifact.
  • When you buy an export, Stripe processes the one-time payment and stores the project identifier with the checkout record. When you download HTML, your project and checkout reference are sent to our server to verify payment and build the file. We do not save Studio project content to the Study database.
  • Studio records basic usage events such as opening the editor, creating a share link, and exporting. Draft input areas are excluded from click autocapture. URL fragments and checkout references are removed from analytics URLs.
  • Keep export keys private: they contain a project backup and a checkout reference that enables future exports for that project.

What we store

  • Account email and authentication state, stored by Supabase.
  • Resume text you upload, generated STAR stories, and any extra context you add to your profile.
  • Your session history — topics reviewed, messages exchanged, current stage progress.
  • Stripe customer and subscription identifiers (if you start a Pro trial).

What we do not do

  • We never use your data — resume, sessions, code, or anything else — to train a model. Not ours, not anyone else’s.
  • We never sell your data, share it with advertisers, or expose it to other users.
  • Your private Study data is row-scoped in Supabase under your user ID. Studio share links are readable by anyone who has the link.

Who processes your data

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage for resumes.
  • Anthropic — the model that powers review sessions and code feedback. Prompts and completions are subject to Anthropic’s data policy.
  • Stripe — billing for Studio exports and Study Pro subscriptions. Card details never touch our servers.
  • Vercel — hosting and edge serving for the app.

Your rights

  • You can edit or delete your profile, STAR stories, and individual sessions from inside the app at any time.
  • Email hello@liminalml.com to request a full export or permanent deletion of your account and data.
  • We respond to deletion requests within seven days.
